https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/tsBGQV is about $100 less expensive. The EVGA PSU has a 7 year warranty. The premium is worth it in the long run. I replaced it with another good PSU, just not as high end. I also replaced the 1600 with the 1500X. With the board in that build an OC can recover some ground.

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/HCvdLD and we are back to over budget with the OS. I really can't recommend the 1060 6GB for VR. It's very good for high end desktop gaming. 90FPS dual 1080p gaming is not something I would trust the 1060 to be able to consistently support across all titles.

Here's a system with an SSD and a GTX 1080 (since the 1070 is not much cheaper anyway):

gaming PC + VR

$1672 + $599=$2272 a little more over budget than my build. $1365 + $599=$1964

Ah okay. Your build is over budget with a Vive though, since it's $800.
