W key broken physically

I game on my laptop and as everyone knows, WASD is the most common keys that are pressed, especially W. Well, that's my problem. My W key is broken physically. If I press and hold it for a long period of time and let go, it continues to detect that it is still being pressed respectively. However, it doesn't effect a single tap like during typing. Can someone tell me how to fix this? I'm really confidence that it is broken physically.

Then your only option is to replace the keyboard. You can either pay a repair shop to do it or attempt to replace it yourself
