Wall Mount Speaker Help!

I have an older Sony stereo system that works great but has big, cumbersome speakers. I know that I can purchase a Bluetooth adapter to transmit sound to an alternate source. But what I'm wanting, just for my bedroom, are Bluetooth speakers, wireless except for power source that I can mount on the walls. So I don't have to use the wired large speakers. How do I do this? Am I able to? If so, what are reasonably priced speakers that would work? I don't want ones that are battery powered. That to me is high maintenance.

Is there anything that prevents you getting new wired speakers? You can get decent, small-sized speakers pretty easily and they'll be far cheaper and more reliable than a bluetooth mess.

I considered this, however, my room is on the small side and would like the option of putting the speaker(s) across the room for better sound and to do it without dragging a wire all the way across and up the wall which I thought would take up less space.
