Hi I have sony IV 300 which has 3 ohms speakers. However I'm not satisfied with the performance of that speakers. I just wanna upgrade those so I recently brought logitech z906 which has 4 ohms imp can I replace with that does sony ht Amp run that impedance or vl get overload, short ? Even the subwoofer also 3 ohms but in logitech it's support 6-8 ohms please advise me thanks in advance

You can use the satellite speakers with the Sony.
The Logitech sub won't accept a speaker level input and might not turn on without the control box anyway. If it can turn on you could use a speaker to line level converter to connect the Sony sub out to the sub input.

You can always go higher in impedance.
The real problem is that the z906 isn't made to work with a receiver.
It has it's own processing and amps built in.
The Sony doesn't have 5.1 line level outputs or digital output.
You can replace the complete Sony HTS with the Logitech but to use them both you would need 3 speaker to line level converters. Not worth the aggro of having multiple controls interacting.
I suggest either get new passive speakers for the HTS, replace the entire HTS with a new one, or just using the Logitech by itself.
