Someone Somewhere Splendid Sep 23, 2012 2,081 1 22,265 Feb 27, 2015 #4 It has, AFAIK, no known unfixed security issues. There are no security issues beyond lack of development Its code is undergoing a strong audit, and the team is generally trusted. Veracrypt has huge amounts of barely-reviewed new code. This is a significant potential issue, that TrueCrypt doesn't really have. http/security.stackexchange.com/a/72635 Upvote 0 Downvote
