I use the same monitor for both my PC and my Xbox 1. Whenever I switch between the two, I have to unplug the cord from my PC and move it to my monitor, and vice versa.
Speakers are these:

My monitor is this:

I've seen answers like stereo splitters, mixers, but I don't know what to look for with my situation.

Monitor is connected to PC via VGA, Xbox is connected to monitor via HDMI.

Solution
Ok, so I guess you can't even touch your PC...xD

Well, there's no extremely simple fix. One solution would be to use an HDMI extractor:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAA0C4T42238&cm_re=hdmi_extractor-_-0Y3-00E9-000X0-_-Product

Simply wire the HDMI from the XBOX through this, then connect the RCA cable output to your Genius speakers. The Genius have an RCA and a 3.5mm input, so connect the PC on the 3.5mm input, and connect the extractor to the RCA. You'll then have to switch using the Genius speakers themselves?

Another solution is getting just a switch:

You'll also need this...

Hi!
Nope, my computer does not have HDMI. It actually has an no sign (circle with a line through it) embossed on the back of the computer.

Connect both the PC and the output from the monitor into the switch directly, then connect the output of the switch to the Genius speakers.

Thank you very much! I will use that second idea, as it sounds like the simpler of the two.
Just a curiosity question, then: would the fact that I'm not plugging anything into the video input affect the switch? Or, since the video would be empty on all sides, it won't matter?

You're welcome. ^^

It won't affect it even if there's no yellow video cable. It's just a direct switch, there's no electronics, so no way to even know there's no video. The wires are directly connected to the output, so even if one wire is missing it doesn't matter. It'll simply switch the left/right signals and send them to the genius speakers.
