Want to upgrade laptop storage

So i want to upgrade myG450s which has 500GB of storage The specs are, 2.5" HDD, 5400RPM, SATA 3, the name is Seagate Momentus Thin, i want to upgrde it into 1TB or 2TB if i can, can i upgrdae it ?

Assuming you put everything back where it's supposed to be, you can replace the storage.
You're gonna have to install your OS with a USB or DVD.

Can't find that pc. Generally you can't upgrade the internal hard drive unless you open up your laptop.

What you can do however, is if your laptop has a DVD drive, you can replace that with a secondary storage.
Just buy a 2.5inch SSD or hard drive and buy a Hard drive caddy for the DVD slot.

i know i will open my laptop, and i know the question is can i upgrade it? i mean replace it? i am okay with tearing down my laptop , but i also need DVD drive and must i set the bios tho?
