Solved! Want to use Bose sound bar for Netflix through lg smart tv

We have a lg tv 4K , how do we get the surround sound which is a Bose sound bar, to work with Netflix through the smart tv, it works fine when it goes through the cable box but when we stream through the tv, it only uses the tv speakers, any answerswe also have a mx 450 remote

How are you connected?

Is your soundbar connected to the cable box?

If you want all audio (from any content displayed on the TV) to output via the soundbar, you have to ensure the soundbar is connected to the TV output (Toslink etc).
