So I was walking my dog while it was raining. When I got home I realized that after some hours the screen on the phone (Samsuns Note III) was flimmering. Taking off the back cover I realized there had been water inside. I quickly took out the battery/sim/sd and put it in rice.

When I tried to boot it the day after the incident, the lower part would just sometimes flash green/white and I couldn't seem to type anyhthing at all.

Now however several days later (when I was going to give it one last chance before handing it in for service) it turned on and functioned perfectly. However the screen was still flimmering faintly and rarely the lower part flashed white.

I have yet again turned it off and trying to search up any help on the internet of what I can do. Can you guys give me any advice?

Guessing the water got to your screen. There's no real fix for that as far as I know. All you can really do is to see if your warranty will cover this; if not, you're probably stuck with replacing the whole screen.

By the sounds of it, water has managed to damage the phone. I would try and get it replaced if its under warranty or buy another phone.

It's alright guys! I just let the phone stay in rice untill i recieved help. Was going to give it one last shot before i sendt it in, and it worked perfectly!

Thanks for the help regardless!
