Hi,
For the development of a computer game we need special, custom photographs
of buildings in a desert-like landscape. If you live in a (semi-)desert
region and if you are interested to make these custom photos for us, we can
pay you 50 US-$ per set (e.g. of a building).

We will use these photos to model 3D models from these pictures and to
create textures for the 3D graphics in the game. (The PC game will be an
Action-Adventure.)

We are looking for photos of the following types of buildings and landscapes
located in a desert or semi-desert and with the "charm" of a location for a
movie... ;-)

1.) Buildings:
- Filling station / gas station at a highway. Ideally outside a town.
- Warehouse or manufacturing plant.
- Electric power station or transformer station
- Solar energy plant
- Deserted mine or comparable scenery.

2.) Nature:
Photos from (big) rocks and interesting mountains in a dessert region. E.g.:
- Arches National Park (USA)
- Canyonlands National Park (USA)
- Bryce Canyon National Park (USA)

If you live near such a location or if you visit such a location in the next
weeks, please contact us under gamedev@online.de. Please attach a small,
informative picture of the building or nature which you can photograph for
us. We will contact you and we will provide you with the instructions how to
make photos which are suitable for 3D modelling and textures.
We can pay you the 50 US-$ for your work e.g. via PayPal or via money
transfer (or any other option you prefer.)

If you like, you will be mentioned in the credits of our game!

in the desert, with most of what you want nearby. If he has time,
you'll probably hear from him.

Visit www.alamy.com and pay the going rate for such pics (possibly even from
my own contributions there), which is waaaay over $50. I wouldn't sell a
picture of a door handle, never mind a whole building, for $50.

Methinks you have an inflated opinion of your work.

And I tink you may be right. Every once in a bit a small magazine I
write for needs photos with the article. They pay $50 a pop. I could
probably squeeze them for more, but why bother? It's always a single
set up, using the same 6' length of seamless (and not the 107"), takes
less than half a day, and comes in lots of 12 to 18. I should turn this
down because...?

Shoot. I'll take all that kind of 50 buck photography I can get. And
I'm sure my buddy will, too. As his work carries him around the desert,
he can carry a camera and pop off a few shots each day.

Ya never know. He recently placed a couple of photos, serendipitously,
in Popular Mechanics, at pretty decent prices.

I would also suggest caution when photographing any power plant lest one
become acquainted with 'homeland security' agents...

$50 a pop is not bad for easily aquired photos.

If I were to have to travel to get them, it might not be so attractive.

I think they are offering $50 for a whole set of photos, not just one.
