Weak or No Signal

I have just purchased a Samsung Series 5 LED TV. I already have a satelite decoder and my external satelite dish cable connected to it. I have now fitted all cables to the new TV and a window pops up saying Weak or No Signal. What do I do???

Is the satellite decoder also a tuner (got the digits to tell you what channel)? if so, you should connect this box to TV via HDMI cable and switch TV to say HDMI 1 input.

If no tuner, then there is a coax hookup to your TV, and you should configure TV input for SAT (if available) or CABLE, and NOT Air or OTA or Aerial or ATSC.
