Webcam not recognised

The webcam that came with my new (two weeks old) Acer Aspire is not recognised. I was told on Acer Chat Line to reset the PC with the remove everything option. I am loathe to do this and have read an old thread on your forum which implies that re-setting the PC caused the loss of the webcam. Any ideas welcome!

I wish I could! I would have looked for drivers. It came with the all-in-one Acer Aspire C24-760 and I have downloaded the manual but there is absolutely no reference to it! The PC is only two weeks old.

Interesting! It looks like Acer has a history of having issues with the included webcam connecting to the Acer Aspire line. I found a thread in their support forums about the issue, and there's a few anecdotal solutions in them. See if maybe one of them works?
