tinkering with my mothers laptop to try to fix an odd issue, when i'm not moving the mouse webpages stop loading, well kind of. i think the page itself is actually loading the info, but for some reason the screen doesn't update unless i move the mouse. reason i think that is that i've seen it happen with youtube videos and on speedtest.net, with the videos the audio will continue to play but the image will freeze and with speedtest the test will continue even though the graphics (ping bar, speed gauge) will stop moving/updating.
i've noticed this only in the web browsers she has, both IE and firefox, and i figured it could be some form of virus so i'm running malwarebytes right now. just wondering if anyone else has seen something similar to this.
