Weird clicking/ticking noises in new laptop

I just bought a new Lenovo Ideapad U310 and for the most part, I like it. I just bought it today, and there is noticeable fan noise, which doesn't really bother me much. What is bothering me, however, is the weird, constant clicking/ticking noise that is coming from what I think is the hard drive. I'm not sure if I should be worried about it or not. Is this normal with Lenovos? I'm using this laptop for grad school, which starts in a week...should I return it and get the HP Pavilion Sleekbook that I was looking at before this Lenovo dies on me?

TaKe it back and have the store boot up the replacement to check for shipping damages. Most laptop drives get killed from usp tossing the boxes.
