Weird display issues?

Hello.
My laptop screen lights up on bootup, but doesn't display a single thing. So I went ahead and ordered a replacement screen, once replaced, I tried booting it up and guess what? Same thing. After a couple of reboots the screen went all pink pixels lines and weird stuff like that and then displayed "no boot disk" this was because I removed the HDD. After putting it all back together thinking that error message was a sign it was working, it still did the exact same thing as the old screen, Brights up, no display.
Could this be the internal graphics?
Thanks

Side Notes:
Attempted different RAM ( still no luck )
The screen has an integrated Inverter so that can't be the issue.
Sony Vaio PCG-71212M
External monitor not displaying either

Hi, if you have no display on the external monitor, the graphic chip could be the culprit. Try going in the BIOS with the external monitor.
