So I sometimes get this weird glitch on my laptop screen. What do you think could be the culprit? Is it the graphics card? or the CPU? Could it be because of overheating? I was watching ac ouple videos and rendering something simultaneously when this started. My cpu temps were also hovering around 90.

I am assuming you are talking about the moving lines on the screen?

If that is the case, are there any other strong electronics near the device? My screen will act like that when I am next to another electronic device that is interfering with it.

nope, just a monitor. I should also mention that when I plug a hard drive into one of the USB 3 ports (its on the left) the other usb devices (including my mouse and keyboard, keyboard acts this way most of the times) which are connected to a usb hub that is connected to a seperate usb 2 on the right side of the laptop start acting up, mouse keeeps connecting and disconnecting, the keyboard becomes sticky and unresponsive.

but Ive always attached teh same number of peripherals, I never had this problem earlier.
My laptop specs are :
Core i7 4700mq 2.4 GHz Processor (Quad Core)
16 GB DDR3 RAM
1 TB HDD + 256 GB SSD (windows is on it)

I dont think those specs wont be able to handle these peripherals.

You are right. It should be OK, however things do change. Do things work fine when you aren't using the hubs? Not saying it is the hub, but curious if it happens then.

well anything that is wireless does (not a problem with the wireless dvices I've checked). My wired mouse doesnt seem to have any issue though.
