Hi there I have a bit of an issue and I don't know how to solve it. I have an Acer Aspire 6530G laptop running Windows 7 Professional 32bit, but I have a problem with the audio.
For a while now I have been plugging standard speakers into my laptop, but tonight when I unplugged my speakers to play sound through my laptop's built in speakers, no audio came out, but theres a light inside the audio jack that tells me the laptop still thinks theres a cable in there. I went into Acer HD audio manager, but I get no help from there. I went in to sound devices from control pannel and when I ran a speaker test it said it was playing sound but nothing produced.
I then went to Device Management and did a scan for new audio hardware but that didn't resolve the problem either.
Any insight would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance
Alex
