Hey folks. I own both -- the TV is a 2012 purchase and the Beam was just acquired last week.
I thought I understood how to pair them, with a TOSLINK <> Coaxial (digital audio) converter -- which I purchased from AMZN (see part: https
/goo.gl/ngaAry). However, upon install today, I just cannot seem to get the audio to divert from the internal speakers of the TV to the coaxial output and thus play through the Beam.
Anyone familiar enough with the TV to know if there is a way to change audio output mechanism (nothing apparent in the settings).
More or less out of ideas after 2+ hours googling and messing around with configuration behind the TV.
