In every discussion I've read about "cutting the cord" no one addresses what seems to be the elephant in a room full of blind people: if you give Comcast the finger, and cut the cord, and you don't live in a rural area with "consolation internet", how do you get your high speed internet service? We're a wired family: all the apple devices and computers, but we subscribe to Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus and MLB.tv. So...?
