What To Do

Hello, I'm an older guy trying to "get into the new age" before my old age finally gets to me.
I currently upgraded my Internet service to 30 mbps and I'm about to buy a TCL FHD Roku Smart TV (not 4K) and cut cable service. Understanding that I should be able to recover most TV programming I enjoy via Sling/Hulu, do I need a Fire stick, or similar, as well in combination? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

U do not need Fire Stick, Roku works by itself just fine.

You may want to use an over the air antenna to complement your internet streaming. Depending on where you live you may not be able to get any or all local programming online. Nice to have if your internet service goes out.
