Hi, I have a old Acer Aspire 1690 and would like to fit in a proper/good motherboard

That is a laptop correct? You cannot upgrade a laptop motherboard, as the motherboards are specifically designed for that laptop and nothing else, meaning that no other board will fit in there. Usually you can only upgrade storage(Hard drives and SSDs) or RAM.

So there is no other motherboard that i can fit into the laptop case? I have got a other motherboard. maby 2, HP or Compac that is more recent, so I should search for 2dehand broken laptop to put the internal hardware in if I want to utilize hem ??

I mean you could just throw it in there, it would require heavy modding and probably a new screen. basically you would be making your own case for the motherboard.

Hi, the only motherboard who fit perfectly in the casing is the Acer Aspire 1690.
