What headphones will be good for EDM and gaming?

I'm in the market for a new pair of headphones. I can spend up to $300. I don't care about impedance, as I'm getting an amp. I like a lot of bass (I listen to EDM and play video games) and would prefer closed back headphones, but that's not too important. I was looking at the Sennheiser HD8 DJ's, (because of Linus' review) until I read some reviews and forums. I am looking at maybe the DT990 Pro's or AKG 550's or something. So what would you all recommend? Thanks in advance!

All low quality compared to any decent pair of headphones. No offense.
