What is my laptop worth ?

I am looking to sell my ~7 Month old gaming laptop as I do not use it anymore (game on my desktop instead). Given the specs bellow, how much do you guys think its worth ?

I paid 2000$ for it just a few months ago, your estimate is clearly a lowball.
I have posted the same question on other forums aswell to get many different opinions and they all tell me that I could get around 1500$ for it.

BTW I wouldn't pay 1500$ for that laptop. First the warranty is probably almost gone, plus it's been "used".

Well sell it for whatever you think you can get it for, and what you think it's worth.

The price is automatically lower because your laptop is used and the parts are from the last generation of hardware.

For your laptop a reasonable list price is $1200, but a cheapskate wouldn't spend more than $1000.

BTW doing a price check on that laptop yields the highest price of 1500 for newer components.

So I highly doubt you could get 1500$ for it, unless you find a real sucker.

Selling that laptop anywhere between 1000-1200 would probably be acceptable. Depends on who you can get to purchase it.

Thanks, atleast somebody actually has a head on there shoulder unlike Mr Chainzsaw over there.

The laptop you mentioned is better in terms of video card and cpu, but it lacks a Bluray RW drive and only has 12GB ram compared to mine which has 16. It also still has 17months left on the warranty period of 2 years.

I'll try @ 1300 and see what happens. The reason I paid 2000$ for it is because I'm in Canada and we all know stuff here sells for way more than the US MSRP.

Thanks for the heads up. Just read through the warranties fine print and it appears that it cannot be transferred. Probably knocks down the value abbit too.
