Solution
You may have to try a wired connection, in order to get a firmware update for your TV. There are threads about Samsung TVs having issues that a firmware update can help.

You could start by looking at your router. What channels are listed as possible to set? You need your TV configured to be consistent. See the WIKI page on channel availability by region -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels

To change region settings on a Samsung you need to reset the Smart Hub: Settings > Support > Self Diagnostics > Reset Smart Hub. If you restart the TV it should begin setup again. If not, Settings > General > Start Setup. (The option will not be available if you are running apps) <<IMPORTANT>> When you get to the Smart Hub terms and conditions part of the setup use your remote keys (Standard Remote) ">> 2 8 9 <<" ( Fast forward, 2, 8, 9, Rewind). An internet options menu will come up and you need to pick the country that you are connecting from.
