Solved! What to buy??

I used to do alot of gaming on my crappy dell laptop. It played WoW, CSS, and other games rather well. It has 2 gb of ram 120 gb harddrive 1.8ghz amd dual turion and a ati radeon 1200. Now it seems that the performance has gone down what should i upgradE? I know that i cant upgrade the graphics card but would upgrading ram to 4gb help the lag? Also would a ram upgrade allow me to open more programs up at once?

Ahh i assumed by the way you were hating on ya' machine you wanted a new one lol.

As far as Laptop upgrading goes there isn't a whole lot you a can do, do you the maximum ram capacity it can hold?

Look into the exact specifications of the RAM required for your laptop, upgrading RAM is a cheap and effective means of improving a computer.

Also, try hoovering the vents of your laptop, dust in a computer surprisingly slows a computer down by a large amount, if heat is causing your computer to slow down it may be worth buying a cooling pad too.

It may be worth concidering saving for a new laptop sometime soon however.
