Whate are barebone laptops?

I am very confused. I saw an MSI GT70 for around $1499
and then on Xoticpc i saw this MS1762 (Force/MSI GT70 Barebones) it was called with the same specs as the GT 70 for like $1200 only!

Do they both have the same EVERYTHING? like backlit keyboard, ram, gpu, cpu and all that stuff? what does the barebones really mean its very confusing and who manufactures the barebones and how is the build quality, speakers, are they same brand, quality? etc

Usually barebones laptops doesn't come with stuff like OS, hard drive, ram etc. Anything that you can insert yourself. They are basically for people that want to upgrade their laptop.
