The HTC One S will have the 8260 (HSPA+) while the HTC One XL will have the 8960 (LTE).

Any word on the rumored Samsung 11.6" 2560x1600 tablet yet?

And loving what Asus is doing with their padfone, being able to turn it into a tablet. Further adding a keyboard to it like the Prime would be sick!
 
The Sony XPeria S is NOT running on a Qualcomm S4 chip, but rather on the MSM8260 S3 chip. Being that it's still running on Qualcomm's 45nm (last year's hardware) and not the new 28nm chip, it's out of the running for my next phone. Shame really, as it's quite a pretty phone.
 
a little better than the amateur Andrew Ku at speaking about devices but Devin you must realize that different operating systems have different requirements for running them? and so with a 1.3ghz cpu and a GPU + a scaling chip in the Nokia 808 +512mb ram that is a MONSTER for running Symbian Belle

and the 41mpx 1/1.2" sensor doesnt simply allow detailed pictures.... it allows for oversampling/binning of pixels so that your 3,5,8mpx picture that you take is lacking Noise and is as detailed as possible its really an amazing feet and weaker attempts at this were previously seen only in $5000 cameras

as for the screen resolution... you should also realize that different screen technologies provide different qualities... as with Megapixels its not simply about the #.... the AMOLED ClearBlack Display produces pristine pictures quality and the apps for the OS are all set to nHD resolutions so thats why Nokia kept it there... of course it'd be nice to have a higher res AMOLED CBD but what's there is better than those Pentile screened android devices with their Pseudo HD resolutions
 
Why didn't you mention about the sensors size? Why do these so called "tech blogs" concentrate solely on the megapixels? 808's sensor is absolutely huge! And the megapixels aren't the impressive thing here, the interesting thing is how they are used: they invested heavily into the signal processing, so that they could handle that much information from 41mega pixels in order to uses those pixels in groups, that would gather light like the sensor had bigger pixels. This allows for staggering amount of detail with as little noise as on pro cameras. This also allows absolutely silent zoom in stills and videos and all this in pocket size. The raw test images are so fantastic, that they made me dizzy.

This is a bigger deal, than you made it sound like.
