When i inserted new battery the charging light started blinking even without connecting the charger. Why ?

I replaced my battery with a new battery. And the moment I fixed the battery the charging light started blinking, but the charger was not connected.

If everything works OK, I wouldn't worry about it. Although I would charge it to the max before I used it.
