When using Browser Computer lags then freezes

Ok so i been having this problem since this morning,,my computer has randomly been lagging then going to a black screen then going back to desktop then it just freezes i cannot use my mouse or do nothing.

So i did a reinstall of windows..i did a custom install and it left the old.windows folder and i got rid of that.

And still having problems...

So i think i found the problem whenever i use a browser(i tried 3 browsers) it crashes after like 5-10 mins, even if i open the browser up then CLOSE it, my computer freezes right after closing it..the mouse starts to lag then a black screen shows then the desktop comes back and the computer freezed...

What can i do?

Look in the event viewer and see what error is being logged.

Then i hit the reset button and i get this?

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

I think i found out the problem it was my graphics card, even with other programs with it still freeze up i did 2 reinstall of windows before plugging in the cable to my on board GPU and everything working fine for now.

How do i know its my GPU for sure and not the slot on the motherboard before i go out buying a new card...

Some motherboards have more than 1 PCIe slot (assuming that's the type of card you're using). You could try a different slot. The first thing I'd do, would be to update the video driver for your graphics card.

Ya i just borrowed an old video card form my friend he had laying around now i am not crashing at all, so guess it was my video card that burnt out.
