In 1994, Kay-bee toys in grossmont center in La Mesa, CA still had new
Atari 7800 cartridges priced at $14.99. Talk about holding onto old
stock like grim death !!!!

Our Wal-Mart opened in 1994-95, they still had NES games, full price.
I remember seeing NES stuff at Circuit City pretty late, too.

I bought about 8 NES games that suddenly appeared on the clearance
shelf at one of our local Wal-Marts for $2.96 a piece back in '99.
Had at least 2 or 3 copies of each game too, kinda regret not just
grabbing them all up.

Well, in the early 90's around here, you could find NIB 2600/7800 carts
at most dollar stores and Big Lots around here for $1.00. That's how I
got most of my 7800 and 2600 red labels.
