where is my battery located at . asus X55IMA

That model has the battery inside the laptop. If for some reason you need to replace it you will have to take the laptop apart by removing the screws on the back, remove the frame around the keyboard slowly to make sure you don't snap off the ribbons holding it down, and then unplug the ribbons and lift the frame off. The battery will be sitting near the top.
