Where is the backlight in a dv2000

i've took the screen apart i can't find the back light

Usually in the bottom part of the screen frame:

(not a DV2000 screen in this example)

Did you ever find the location of the back light on the DV2000? I have the same problem. The back light is not at the base of the screen under any plates. Wires lead into the back of the LCD board. Is it even replaceable?
