Many thanks for your clarification. Now I understand your meaning of
Play/Pause/Stop Button.
After verification, I found that on playing back MP3 songs, the Play button
to activate Playback and Pause - in your explanation, Pause is same as stop
except the playback progress bar does not return to zero. We have to change
our behaviour to interpret the Pause button as the Stop button.
On hearing radio station via internet, you are quite right that tabbing the
Play button once to play the broadcast and tab it again it turns to square
symbol and stop to play broadcast.
