where is the wifi switch or button on compaq 6515b laptop

i need to find the wifi button since i looked around the internet and it says most likely my wifi switch is off but i dont know where that is please help also the internet connection works when i connect it to ethernet

This should help...

1. Go to "Control Panel".

2. Next go to "Network and Internet" and then "Network and Sharing".

3. From the options on the left-hand side, select "Change adapter settings".

4. Now right-click on the icon for "Wireless Connection" and click "Enable".

5. Now to back to "Network and Sharing Center" and then click on "Manage Wireless Networks".

6. Now choose the WiFi network listed that you want to connect to.
