Which alienware 17 inch laptop should I buy

Hi guys I am saving up for a gaming laptop and would just want to know which of these second hand alienwares is the best option taking money in consideration

1. Alienware 17 r2 with 970
2. Alienware m17x with 765

I was wondering if the graphics amplifier would work on one of these and is it worth it ?

Any suggestions guys ?
