Solved! Which Asus Gaming portable computer should I buy?

I am looking to purchase an Asus G series gaming laptop by Christmas or a little after Christmas. I am on Newegg and I have one in my sights: ASUS G73 SW-XC1. I want to know if this is a Best Buy model and if the graphics card is good for high setting on modern games such as Crysis 1&2, Skyrim, WoW, battlefield 3.

If there are any better ones out there from ASUS for under 1300 bucks, post it here and if anyone knows of another good gaming laptop; maybe better. Post it. Help me make a good decision.

It is not a best buy model.

There are many re-sellers out there for such laptops and they provide customized solutions and better pricing.

For under $1300, the best bet in terms of pure GPU power would be the MSI barebones 1761 or 16F2. They have the 570M GPU which is by far the best for that price range. You could get those from powernotebook, gentechpc, xoticpc, etc.

How about I go with a 1200 dollar G74Sx model or a 1200 dollar P170Hm? They all have a GTX 560M, some have a GTX 560M with 3Gb of VRAM. NICE!

Newegg is good, they have great prices; they had a G74Sx model that was 1500 bucks for 1199.99! insane, its gone now though.

yeah,I would recommned using one of those sites instead. You can get what you want and they put it together for you. its pretty cool.
