Which camera is better for bird photography, Nikon D300s or Nikon D7000 ?

They are both top quality camera bodies. Pick one with the features you like.

What you need for photographing birds is a good telephoto zoom lens and a tripod. I suggest a 70 - 300 Nikon zoom lens.

D300(s) better for sports and wildlife...
