Which combination is better?

Hello guys,

I'm planning to buy a budget laptop, which I will be using for mostly office works (Internet, MS Office etc) and for medium level gaming (preferably games like FIFA 17/18, Far Cry 3, AC4 etc).

My budget is very limited. I have narrowed down my shortlist to two laptops. I can't actually choose between the both group of specs.

The 1st one has : AMD A8 7410 CPU (which has 4 cores I believe) with 8 GB DDR3 RAM and a clock speed of 2.5 GHz

The 2nd one has: AMD A9 7th Gen Dual Core CPU with 8 GB DDR4 RAM and a clock speed of 2.4 GHz

(Both have AMD Radeon R16M-M1-30, 2 GB Graphic memory)


A friend of mine said, DDR4 with Dual Core A9 will perform better than DDR3 with A8 7410.

The first one costs a few bucks more than the second, which I don't really care. Help me out guys, which one should I go for?

You'd be best served by listing the links to both laptop's you've found. An SKU/make and model number would get us a long way. Are these the only options you have available to you?

Yes, these two are the best in options in my budget. Others only provide 4 GB of RAM.
