Upgrading from Intel T4400, which is the best cpu that is supported?
A problem is that i cannot specify the intel chipsets exact model, cause the Intel's chipset identification utility does not support my win7 64bit. so i cant find the supported cpu models...

yes, its a laptop. I ve written of some cases of succesful upgration. its sure that i can upgrade to T4500 but there is a small difference. i wonder if i can go higher. it would be easier, if i knew the supported cpus for my mobo/chipset, but i cannot specify the chipset model as i explained in my first post.

1 year after the successful upgrade from a T4400 (2.2GHz) to a T9500 (2.6Ghz), now planning to go at the top (hopefully) supported cpu, T9900 (3.06Ghz). just to to take and the last drop of that laptop!

HI, still with the t9500, which it did worth it. much faster. Didn't change anything else, Except an ssd, but this has nothing to do with the cpu. Didn't go for t9900 yet, but i will try it soon. I will post the results.

Hello

did you check your computer that is working faster after upgrading procesor, without adding ssd disk? if not mostly probably the fastness is getting from ssd disk.

Most people telling that changing disk from hdd to ssd is giving the most of upgrading computer

Mhmm ok Now I feel it:)

I was wondering is it worth, but now I see that I will try do it with the same processor.
In future also will change or better add new hard disk, I will get rid dvd and put instead of this ssd as my primary disk.

better first go for the ssd. Put it as a primary in place of hdd, it will double the pc speed. Then go for the cpu, it will give you about 30% of extra speed.
