Hey guys!

Normally a desktop gamer, but need a laptop that i can use and have in our summerhouse/vacation home.

The laptop will be placed in one spot, and in the charger at all time, so i intend on taking the battery out.

Last gaming laptop i bought was msi dominator pc 2 pro, i have no clue what to look for.

I've been looking at alienware 15" and alienware 17" but'm im not sure if its worth the money?

my budget is about 2300 Euro / 2800 USD

I live in Denmark.

thanks in advance

PS i prefer to stay away from 13"

I just wanna make sure i buy something that's worth the money i throw after it.

This one has killer specs I couldn't say why it has so much more RAM for the price. When everything else is equal.

This one is larger and should have more battery life and room for upgrades. I haven't looked at it in detail. But at a big loss in RAM. Usually these thicker models have better cooling.

I don't see anything else interesting in the price range this time. Well nothing which compares to these two...
Here are a few options. As far as gaming speed goes they should all be nearly identical. As they are all a Core i7-7700HQ CPU, 16GB RAM and GeForce GTX 1070. Just different screen sizes, battery sizes and weight.

Lightweight:

Big and Heavy (large batteries):

I don't see anything else interesting in the price range this time. Well nothing which compares to these two. There's a lighter 17 inch model. If you wan't portable 17 inch is a poor choice.
