Hi, im looking for a new laptop. Its a must since I dont spend any of my time at home but rather at university campus so id like somethimg portable.

Here is what I've looked at so far:

2017 Newest HP Pavilion 15.6" HD Laptop PC

Features:

7th Gen Intel Core i7-7500U Processor (2.7 GHz, turbo boost up to 3.5 GHz, 4 MB L3 cache),

Intel HD Graphics 620

16 GB DDR4 SDRAM,

1TB HDD 5400RPM

OR

Dell Inspiron 17 5759-7833

Features:

Intel Core i7-6500u

Are they any good for photoshop, adobe after effects, cad, league of legends and maybe gta v on low settings?

Is there some other laptop you recommend in that price range, i.e $650 on amazon?

Thanks

The MSI GL62M and Sager NP5855 (=Prostar N855HJ), and ASUS X556UQ use very low quality displays, and as such I would not recommend them. The displays render a grayish gradient in what should be solid black, and the resulting poor contrast creates a 'washed out' look. I think you'll find the difference between a good display and a not-so-good one to be one of the most noticeable things.

This laptop (Inspiron 7559, not 7567) has a good GPU and a good quality display, at the same time: https://www.amazon.com/Dell-15-6-Inch-Quad-Core-i5-6300HQ-Processor/dp/B015PYYDMQ/

If you can push the budget a little more and check out these laptops out! It is great for the price and the specs that are included.
