Looking for a reasonable gaming laptop, just wondering which is best out of these two

HP ENVY dv7-7338ea - http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptops-netbooks/laptops/laptops/hp-envy-dv7-7338ea-17-3-laptop-21321362-pdt.html#longDesc

ASUS N56VZ-S4207H- http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptops-netbooks/laptops/laptops/asus-n56vz-s4207h-15-6-laptop-20622598-pdt.html

I work for Dixons retail so I will get discount, thats the main reason why they are both from PC world. If anyone has any suggestions at a similar price, they would be appreciated

The GPU, or graphics card, is the most important part of any gaming system. It allows for better framerates, higher resolutions and better maximum detail settings. For a gaming system, it is therefore very important to invest a large part of one's budget into such. The CPU, or central processing unit, (processor) does not largely affect game performance. It is therefore not important to have a high-end processor such as an intel i7, as even weaker processors such as an intel i3 or i5 will not bottleneck 95% of GPUs.

The ASUS is definitely better, since it has a better graphics card. Also, look for a laptop with a 660m if you can. Get the laptop with the highest second digit for NVidia, as long as the first one is 6/7.

Hope this helps!
