Which is better for gaming?

Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could help me choose which of the two laptops posted below is better for gaming - they're the same price but have different components (Intel vs. AMD and Nvidia vs. Radeon). Overall, I just can't tell which is better really! It's only for games like World of Warcraft, Half Life 2 etc, not hardcore modern games!

None of them because both aren't for gaming.
But out of the 2, I'll go with the HP because it has a faster CPU.
The Asus has a Intel, but it's U model and those run at a slowest speed to have a low TDP which looks nice on paper as how much energy it saves. I've tried laptops with a U CPU and it ran like molasses.

Oh no ... not what I wanted to hear haha that's a pretty sweet laptop you've suggested - but wayyyy out of my budget! These two are the most expensive ones I can afford really (around £580). Do they really suck that badly? There's one left in the shop of that HP and I was going to go get it tomorrow, but now I'm considering not doing so!

A desktop would be better for games, laptops aren't really meant for games.

Yeah I was going to build my own desktop, but then got scared because I've never built one before, and I like the fact I can take a laptop pretty much anywhere I go with much more ease than a desktop atleast! That laptop you have suggested sounds good, and I wouldn't mind paying that bit more if it'll make a reasonable difference in performance.
