No they have very different cpus one is haswell one is skylake one has 1600 mhz memory one has 2133, the skylake rig has the faster memory, more memory, and will have a longer battery life due to being skylake

Not marked anywhere, but I noticed now it uses DDR4.

The faster memory doesn't matter in most games, and the CPU is only marginally faster. It also uses about the same power, likely 45W vs. 47W (depending on which particular CPU it is).

No it doesn't. But they did put that info in the overview. What a shitty site.

Anyway, the Core i7-6700HQ runs at 2.6-3.5 GHz with a 45W TDP. The Core i7-4720HQ runs at 2.6-3.6 GHz with a 47W TDP.

The slightly higher clocks on the 4720HQ reduces the already pretty small performance advantage from the newer architecture in the 6700HQ, and the difference in power consumption is tiny. The difference between the two CPUs matters very little.
