first has usb 3.0, while second has better graphics. first has win7, while second has win8. go with the second if you can dish out $5 for start 8 from stardock.

Both have usb 3.0. And the 660m is better than the 650m. The lenovo also has a better cpu and more ram. No point in start 8 when others have similar solutions for free and it is also unnecessary.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 is the better choice
