As far as performance goes, the amd is better multithreaded but about equal on single since it could turbo to make up for the architecture difference, a better igpu, more ram, and the lower res would help performance. You could set the other to a lower res but it wouldn't look as good upscaled. It does use more power though. The intel is higher res and has newer ac wireless.
