One is Windows, other runs MAC OS, so really "faster" is not very comparable here since they are different operating systems. The MAC has a solid state drive so will boot and load programs faster. On paper the CPU in the Dell is faster but that is offset by the SSD in the MAC as far as how fast programs open and switch between them. If you want to use a MAC, the Apple is fine, if you want Windows, then the Dell. I would recommend you find a Windows system with an SSD though.
