So there is many different acer aspire 5 models out there and I've found 2 that I'm interested in. One has a SSD and the other has intel optane memory, i need the faster option (so like which one boots faster and opens applications faster). The specs are below.

1st one:
Processor Brand: Intel
Processor Type: Core i5
Processor Model: 8265U
Processor Max Speed (GHz): 3.9
Cache Size (MB): 6
Installed RAM: 8GB
RAM Configuration: 1 x 8GB
RAM Type: DDR4
Primary Storage Capacity: 256GB
Storage Type: SSD

2nd one:

Intel® Core™ i5-8250U Quad-core processor (1.6GHz - 3.4GHz, 6MB L3 Cache)
20GB System memory (16GB Intel® Optane™ + 4GB DDR4 RAM)

I really dont know which one to get so could you guys decide for me (i want the faster option).

Solution
AFAIK Intel Optane is a tech that speed-up HDDs so that it match SSDs. So in term of speed, I believe SSDs is more reliable.

EDIT: many review said that Optane is faster than SSD, so read speed is faster while write speed is about the same(?).
