Option 1: hp g6 a8-3520m, 6520g, 6gb ddr3, 750gb hdd, altec lansing premium, cd drive (brand new) $549 at futureshop

Option 2: hp dv6-6140us a8-3500m, 6520g, 6gb ddr3, 640gb hdd, beats audio, blue ray drive (refurbished) $509 at newegg

So which one should i get? They are both very similar but the dv6 is a bit better but it is refurbished so i wanted to know if it would be worth it and how well are neweggs refurbished laptops?

Thanks in advance

Firstly, I wouldn't go with HP. That's your call though.

As for the specs differences. I'd go with Option 1, unless you want to play Blu Ray Discs... Beats Audio isn't so much of a feature... Just a marketing Scheme really.. And prone to sound issues.

But it really is your call. You need to think about whether or not you need the most space you can get. Whether or not you're going to be playing Blu-Ray movies, and if you're willing to spend 50 more dollars on Option 1.

Newegg does not refurbish the laptops- HP does (or whoever the manufacturer might be) I've seen mixed reviews on HP laptops... Many problems that are native to their systems, so I can see how there are so many refurbished models available. ;)

Actually best buy has a sale right now on an a6 3400m with crossfire 6520g + 6750m for $499 atm so im definitely jumping on that deal right now, however my max price range is $700 before taxes if there is anything better than the 6750 m in that price range (which i believe there is not)
