Which laptop would be better for AutoCAD?

Hello, I've asked around before, however the laptops I was checking out were sold out. Sucks.

Anyway, I'm trying to choose among these laptops. Which would be the best bet? I do have a tight budget and have narrowed it down to these few choices. I've checked in so many stores and these are by far the best among the possible ones.

I'm not exactly a tech-savvy person, but I have read about the graphics cards of these machines. Although I'm still undecided because I'm still new to these things and I am still having difficulty understanding them.

So it's basically

Hi. Autocad will run fast enough on any of todays laptops. You do not need a super fast machine to run it. If you print any drawings you might be better spending some of your budget on a good plotter or printer.

Actually mibix19, that's not true. Autocad requires a quad core CPU. However I do agree with the idea of buying a good plotter.

Well I'll get the plotter/printer later on, or I don't know. I'll be printing out on 20x30 sheets and the printers for that are hella expensive and I'm still just studying.



So then, ATI JET LE R5 M230 with 2GB DDR3L VRAM or GT 820M? Or does it not matter?

Honestly printers aren't my speciality, but I can help with getting you optimal specs for AutoCad.

Well I went with the G5070. Won't be using this that long anyway, hopefully I graduate soon and start working! 1 year to go. Anyway I thought that the spare cash would probably go to an SSD or a printer soon. Thank you very much for all your help.

Are you against building your own desktop? Or does it have to be a prebuilt pc/laptop?
